LAWS OF LAW
With this law, the owner / operator of the website has the obligation to obtain the prior and informed consent of users to the installation of cookies used for purposes other than purely technical.
WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are text files containing minimum information sent to the browser and stored on your computer, mobile phone or other device, every time you visit a website. With each link, the cookies refer information to the reference site.
Cookies can be permanent (persistent cookies) if they remain on the computer until the user deletes them, or temporary (session cookies) if they are deactivated when the browser is closed. Cookies can also be first-party cookies if set by the visited site, or third-party cookies if inserted from a site other than the one visited.
For the purposes of the provision of the law, the Privacy Guarantor identifies two types of cookies: “technical cookies” and “profiling cookies”.
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service “(see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).
They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); any analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functional cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. For the installation of these cookies the prior consent of users is not required.
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles related to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of surfing the net. Because of the particular invasiveness that such devices can have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation requires the user to be adequately informed about their use and express their valid consent. The art. 122 of the Privacy Code where it states that “the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or a user or access to information already filed is permitted only on condition that the contractor or the user has given his consent after have been informed with the simplified procedures referred to in Article 13 of the Privacy Code, paragraph 3 “.
COOKIES USED AND THEIR FUNCTIONALITY
The cookies used on our site can be cataloged as follows:
These cookies are essential to allow the user to move around the site and use the required services, such as access to protected areas of the site.
The essential cookies are first-party cookies and can be permanent or temporary. Without these cookies the user could not access the required services and our site would not work properly.
Performance cookies collect information on the use of a site by users, such as which pages are visited most frequently. These cookies do not store identifying data of individual visitors, but only aggregate and anonymous data.
We use these cookies for statistical purposes, to understand how our site is used.
These cookies can be permanent or temporary, first or third parties. Basically, these cookies collect anonymous information on the pages visited.
These cookies allow the site to remember the choices of visitors (for example the user name, language or country of access) and provide more personalized features. Functional cookies can also be used to provide services requested by the user, such as accessing a video or inserting a comment to a blog. The information used by these cookies is anonymous and it is not possible to track users’ browsing on other sites.
We use these cookies for:
• remember if a particular service has already been provided to the user;
• improve the general experience on the site by remembering user preferences.
These cookies can be permanent or temporary, first or third parties. In essence, these cookies remember the individual choices made by users to improve their browsing experience.
Our site includes some components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google. These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyze anonymous information on the behavior of use of our website. This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it in order to prepare reports for our operators regarding the activities on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information.
The Guarantor has specified that the cookies of Google Analytics can be assimilated to technical cookies only if used for the purpose of optimizing the site directly from the owner of the site, which will collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site .
Under these conditions, the same rules apply to analytics cookies, in terms of information and consent, provided for technical cookies.
We therefore specify that on our own the management components of Google Analytics have been appropriately modified so that the IP addresses of the users are anonymized.
